Project Description: This project will train students in green business certification, leverage the training to help south campus area student-serving businesses obtain green business certification, and promote green business consumer decisions via outreach in the campus community.
Project Goals:
- Certification for five businesses and one campus vendor
- Reduce campus waste streams, by reducing the waste produced by south campus businesses
- Work to ensure that the strong commitment to sustainability on campus crosses the street to the commercial district beyond the campus bounds
