The goals of this project are to pilot new technologies for rooftop gardening and to enrich educational experiences in environmental sustainability at Cal. Climate Break II

Project Description

CLEE created Climate Break as a means to discuss climate change with a wider audience in a different way than the typical focus on the inevitable negative impacts coming our way. Climate Break instead focuses on solutions in progress, via bite-sized audio clips of 90 seconds that fit as interstitial segments on radio stations nationwide and as easily distributed digital podcasts. Fellowship for Emerging Sustainability Professionals

The Office of Sustainability sought funds to employ student sustainability leaders to support its efforts to address changes to the UC Sustainable Practices Policy and inform the evolution and implementation of the UC Berkeley Sustainability Plan. Graduate Outdoor Pals for Equity (GOPE) Workshops

Project Description

GOPE is seeking funds to support a series of workshops on edible gardening, foraging, and herbal medicine, specifically to engage with URM (underrepresented minorities), and FGLI(first-generation, low-income) graduate students. Supporting and Expanding the Green Labs Certification Program

Decolonizing Environmental Education Decal

Project Description

Seeking funds to support the "Decolonizing the Environment" Decal which teaches a curriculum on environmental justice, unlearning dominant frameworks, and centering community care. Their goal is to empower students with the knowledge/tools to navigate environmental solutsions from an equitable lens. They will host guest speakers and monthly community events.
